The nostalgia of home photos

Something i really wanted when my girls were little was photos of the everyday magic. The sweet golden syrup crumpets eaten standing on a chair at the kitchen bench on a cold August morning, The soaked 2 year old eating fresh cherry tomatoes as i water the garden at twighlight. all the sweet everyday moments. There’s something beautiful about having photographs of your family in and around your home.

Not just the big moments. The ordinary ones too.

Because one day, your children may not remember the exact birthday, Christmas or family holiday — but they might remember the sun coming through the stained glass door, the old worn in couch where many cuddles and were had, The dog that slept beside the fireplace.
